Rules

This event is open participation. There are no signups. Simply create as you would like and share on social media with the tag (#LQRWeek23)/in the AO3 collection. That said, there are some simple rules for participants to follow.

  • Any adaptations welcome.

  • Tag NSFW/dead dove/etc.

  • All ships welcome.

  • Prompts not required.

  • Late submissions accepted.

  • Submissions of any length/level of finish accepted but works posted to the AO3 collection should be largely complete/finished.

  • When posting new NSFW art for the event, use of the spoiler function on Twitter/community labels on Tumblr is appreciated, and please tag appropriately. Use of ALT text is also encouraged and appreciated.

  • Be chill. Everyone will see the prompts differently, and there is a chance someone will create something that you do not like. That is okay. Do not interact with content you know will upset you, and do not send hate/threats to other creators.

  • Tag appropriately. Please make sure all content is properly tagged, especially when content may be upsetting/triggering. If you do not tag as a rule, make sure that information is located somewhere easily accessible on the account where you post.

  • No bashing LQR. Please do not use this event as an outlet for your dislike of the character. This is a celebration of Lan Qiren, and bashing will not be tolerated.

Mods reserve the right to not include works if they promote or incite hate, including ones that mods believe do any of the following:

  • instruct, provoke, or attempt to justify that the audience join a real-life hate group.

  • clearly and actionably instruct, provoke, or attempt to justify that the audience harm or threaten to harm a living person or persons sharing a similar intrinsic attribute.

  • clearly and actionably instruct the audience to violate a human right of a living person or a group of persons sharing a similar intrinsic attribute.

  • have content outside the in-story narrative that expresses a clear and actionable plan to cause grievous harm to another living person or persons.
